KINDERGARTEN MOVING-UP CEREMONY SCRIPT

DAYMIE: A pleasant morning to one and all! Today is a day of rejoicing for it marks the
first step that every child must undertake to open up to another important stage of their lives. It’s
an honor to be here to this special event which is the high point of the academic year because today
celebrates the accomplishments and academic achievements of our dear children, our completers. I am
Maam Daymie E. Linn..

CHAYEN: and I am Maam Charlyn C. Andriano, we are your Ladies of Ceremony of this morning. We are
delighted to be here and it is our honor to stand up to this dignified and special event, Kindergarten
Moving-up Ceremony with the theme,”Unity in Diversity: Quality Education for All”. Without any further
adue, teachers, parents, guests, ladies and gentlemen with pride and honor let us welcome the Licuma
Elementary School’s Kindergarten completers batch 2018-2019.

DAYMIE: It is so wonderful to have everyone gathered here to share in joy and witness the
convocation. Today is very momentous day for all kindergartens who completed this school year. To
formally start our program, let us all stand for the entrance of colors to be led by the selected Boy
Scouts of Licuma Elementary School.

CHAYEN: And please remain standing for the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted by Maam Thea
Faye A. Villa to be followed by an invocation to be led by Niña Paredes, a Star Reader Pupil.

------ENTRANCE OF COLORS, PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM & INVOCATION-----

DAYMIE: May we all be seated. Now to formally welcome all of us, may we call on an Outstanding
completer of batch 2018-2019, Ainsley Ymas. A round of applause please.
-------WELCOME MESSAGE------

CHAYEN: Thank you so much Ainsley Ymas for that warm welcome. At this juncture, to present to us the
candidates for Completion, let me call on our beloved School Head Maam Ma. Amor E. Monsanto.
-----PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR COMPLETION-----

DAYMIE: Now, to officially confer our candidates for completion and to deliver the message of our
dear Schools Division Superitendent Dr. Manuel P. Albaño, help me call on our active Education Program
Supervisor in Araling Panlipunan, Dr. Elvin Wenceslao. A big hand please.

CHAYEN: Thank you so much Sir! And Congratulations to our completers!
At this point, may we request our PSDS/EPS and School Head to do the honor in
distributing the certificate of completion to our completers. May I invite you to come up on stage?

CHAYEN: Thank you so much! You now have the ticket to aim higher and dream bigger. Brace yourselves
and prepared for more. At this very moment, to give recognition to those learners who have shown an
exemplary attitude towards learning, let us now have the Awarding of Honors and Special Awards.

DAYMIE: Persistence and perseverance are some of the key factors for success. Give yourselves a big
hand for a job well done.

CHAYEN: You’re right Maam Daymie, at this juncture may we request all our completers to stand and
sing your heart out with their Moving up Song, “I Can” A big hand please.
REMINDER: The completers will perform twice. Please to our dear parents & photographers ,taking
photos and recording videos will be done on the 2nd presentation. Thank you!

photographers nga pagabuhaton ang pagkuha og hulagway hasta videos sa ikaduhang pagkanta sa
mga bata. Daghang Salamat! 

DAYMIE: Thank You so much kids, indeed with the journey of learning, we believe that kids ,
YOU CAN!  As we are about to close our program, may we call back on stage our school head, Maam
Ma. Amor E. Monsanto to give us her SOSA (State of the School Adress). A round of applause please.

CHAYEN: Thank you Maam Amor! Let me end this ceremony, with a quote by Ronald Reagan

EDUCATION IS NOT THE MEANS OF SHOWING PEOPLE HOW TO GET WHAT THEY
WANT. EDUCATION IS AN EXERCISE BY MEANS OF WHICH ENOUGH MEN, IT IS
HOPED, WILL LEARN TO WANT WHAT IS WORTH HAVING.”
